Bismillah..
well, by today..i think i don't need to introduce this lady bcoz seem like all malaysian student know her already...here some link for those who still blur who is she...
video: forum speaker insulting student (UUM)
seriously, when i watch that youtube video, i feel really mad..
as a student, i feel so disrespected by her...
how could she answer like that to a university student..university student ok...not kindergarten...
for god sake,
when we talk about our right, is that mean we least educate??
well, believe me..
i am first class student, and i feel the girl is wayyyy better than the speaker...
why?
1. the student ask why not malaysia prepare us, student with free education?like others country does...
and the speaker answered that we cannot compared Malaysia to others country...
my opinion: i thought if we cannot compare, why we are sooo dream to achieve what other country achived???..well, don't they start from a great education??plus, how about 200 billion a year for federal??why don't the speaker answer about that fact..
2. seriously she talk about respect..do she really know what that suppose to mean??don't she need to respect the girl...shake hand is symbol of respect??what about take away the mic from the girl and repeating "listen, listen, listen, listen, listen" over and over again until i feel sooo much annoying...hey! we absolutely not a kids..we are university student..and yet the different between her and that girl is "degree and O'level?" seriously??? nowdays, well, i am a degree student too..yet, i don't agree with you, lady..
3. answer with example of animals..again..seriously lady?????
don't make me laugh...it is so much pointless...so, thats the answer that degree student give?well, i believe u have fail many subject in ur universiti except animal subject..i guess~~
shame of u...
we as degree student wayyyy better than u...
4. i hate when people telling someone else..":if u dont like the way government treat you, please get out from this country"..seriously talking...who are you..this world belong to you???do government feed us??
do government give us house to stay...NOPE..we buy with our own hardwork and blood...we actually the one who feed the government...if you are the lecturer of UUM, i bet, nobody want to further their study there..since the wrong of your eduction is obviously wrong and corrupted!!
i don't know what the lady felt now, but she really need to apologies to all malaysian students...
for disrespected us...
Agreed! I'm shocked by her response.... All I heard was bla bla bla verbal diarrhoea throughout!!! Bawani has valid points which were not answered! She who spoke about manners should learn a thing or two herself cos she clearly showed us how an uncivilised and a threatened human being would behave! Shame on you!! You need to apologise to Bawani! Politicians need to learn to shut up and listen once in a while rather than talk over people!
ReplyDelete/s Bawani, she's clearly no match to you on every level, you go girl!!!
now the lady should realize, student are not stupid anymore..thats the power of youth today...
ReplyDeletewell, she said she older..she is really old since she don't even know what is she babling mumbling...huh!
Being a mother of 2 teens I am angry for Ms Bhavani. What an amazing girl to stand up and brooch the subject all Malaysian students, who have had to work hard to get to university in the first place, are worried about. A good education is what she wants, also free education, the right to voice an opinion, praise of Ms Ambiga (she holds much heartfrelt praise amongst foreign presidents than say Dr M does. Ms Bhavani made many valied points and asked the right questions......it is a pity that the 3 mice....I mean men..who sat on the stage did nothing to stop this runaway train called Sharifah from continuing. I thank Dr Peter Yap for at least walking about on stage in a rage...I could see he was totally frustrated by Sharifah's attitude.....but the again, was Sharifah his pay master...he should come forward and offer his views and give back the money...his concious will be clear....the other jackasses on the panel just sat there, possibly cos their English wasnt that great and they only understood half of what she said.
ReplyDeleteI was totally angry with Sharifah and sad for Ms B. The university should offer Ms B an apology, Ms S should makea public apology to Ms B and the student body and to Ms Bs parents. Then she should pack her bags and go to India to live....is she related to any of the MIC chaps?
certainly UUM names become bad because of this Degree-fail-sharifah..and the student who clap hand for her also gonna be shame of their life..
ReplyDeleteall student now hates UUM...
The problem with Sharifah is that she could not answer valid points brought up by Ms. Bawani with facts and valid reasons. Therefore she felt the need to go on the offensive to cover her weaknesses. Democracy allows freedom of expression and opinions, so long as we articulate and put forward our thoughts and debate them in a civilised and reasonable manner. Asking your fellow citizens to get out of Malaysia if 'you don't like it here' simply shows that you lack the substance in the forum to convince your audience.
ReplyDeleteI congratulate Ms. Bawani for voicing out her thoughts in the forum without fear.
First off, puterisitifatimah, with all due respect, do you even realise how ironic it is that you pointed out that how disrespectful Sharifah Zohra Jabeen was to the university student and yet at the same time disrespecting kindergarten students yourself? Do you think it acceptable that a kindergarten student then do not deserve to finish voicing out his/ her opinions and have his/ her questions answered?
ReplyDeleteI am as much enraged at her rude manner and comically irrelevant response to Ms. Bawana's (or is it Bavani? I apologise for my ignorance)questions. But please, the same time that you're criticising someone, make sure you don't end up looking like a hypocrite by doing the exact same thing as you're criticising at.
Lebih elok la kiranya gunakan bahasa Melayu. English awk sangat... Hmm. First class student :(
ReplyDeleteitu lah .. saya pon nak komen perkara yang sama ... apa lintang pukang sangat ..?!! huhu... first class ...?
DeleteYea. Irony.
Deleteseen: well, i'm talking about...university student do understand about the lady saying "listen"..why she repeating those word..since repeating is an order that always happen to kindergarten...dont get me wrong..hurm~~
ReplyDeleteand both with no name...
i actually bad in english and i admit that already in previous post (its ok since u not following me pun)..thats why i create this blog for me to speak more in english, since i use malay as my language daily...
and first class degree in malaysia does not required u a good english since i'm not an english language student..it required u skills and knowledge..i bet u know that...
well, i already got my degree with honoured first class..what else can i say...
i stumbled upon your blog due to this unfortunate UUM scandal, and i have to say, keep it up! i just wish more of my fellow malaysians would understand how important it is to stretch oneself in order to grow. and im not referring to any particular race either. the big three are all equally guilty. i've met malays, chinese, and indians who refuse to make serious attempts to master english or any other language for that matter. if you stay in your comfort zone, how can one grow? May I ask which subject matter you read in university?

ReplyDeleteHi putrisitifatimah,
keep up writing in English, this is how we improve our English. English is working communication language, if not good in conversation, at least good in writing.
me with no degree...
thanks a lot..i am once a business development in agricluture student...
ReplyDeletea degree actually doesn't show that u are better than somebody else..
in the post, i just wanna say..how can the lady compared that student and herself in term of level education..and me don't agree with the lady and again, really thanks..
lets see....mark zuckerberg, CEO of facebook is younger than her....and no degree.....steve jobs was the CEO of a public listed company when he was 22....also no degree. but both cannot compare to the supergenius Sharifah with...a degree!! and older than them too!!
